Well the Late Late Toy Show is on so that’s all the excuse I needed to open Mikkeller’s Hoppy Lovin’ Christmas! It’s a pleasing golden colour and had a frothy white head, I may have just poured it too quickly though! It’s brewed with ginger and pine needles. The pine and hops mingle together quite well. I have to say I found it very difficult to detect any ginger. Despite that, it’s a very decent beer and as ever Mikkeller is keeping beer exciting!
As November comes to an end so will my posting every day (we won’t mention the 19th & 20th, I might just do a couple a week… Anyway for the last post of November I will be heading West to Galway and we’ll see what delights I can find there!
