Citra by name…

Oakham Ales were the first English brewery to use Citra hops and going on this evidence they got it right first time. Citra is a single hop American style Pale Ale. It has some grapefruity hoppiness and is a very pleasant beer. If I had a few of these in the fridge on a fine sunny afternoon like this I would be happy out!

  1. A great accompanying beer to this is Green Bullet by Mountain Man beers – these are wonderful alternatives to things like Brooklyn Summer ale, or the Sierra Nevada Summerfest beer. Also, Blacks of Kinsale Session is another great ‘buddy’ beer to this.
