A few from Brewdog

Apparently fruit beers are the big thing this year. BrewDog join the party with their curiously named Elvis Juice. This Grapefruit Infused IPA is like a grown up version of a German Radler. It compares favourably with the very recent Surrender To the Void DIPA from Whiplash. Juicy.

Ace of Simcoe is a Single Hop Pale Ale that will stand or fall depending on your opinion of said hop. I happen to like it so this was an enjoyable easy drink.

Arcade Nation is one of those Black IPAs that pedants love. Again it’s hopped with Simcoe but Amarillo and Citra are brought along for the joyride. The piney hops twist around coffee flavours. It’s only 5.2% and so is lighter than many other cascadian dark ales, well worth a punt.

Jet Black Heart is an Oatmeal Milk Stout that Untappd tells me I’ve had before but I honestly don’t remember. This one goes full malt and it’s very smooth with a nice layer of chocolate. With beers like these there’s nothing standing in the way of BrewDog’s quest for world domination. Sláinte!
