So we arrived in Nashville yesterday afternoon and the hotel shooed us off to Broadway as our room wasn’t ready yet. It’s a bit like Beale Street except twice as long and the music is country instead of blues. Obviously!
I’m going to keep this post relatively short after a few long ones. I called in to the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery where I had the beer sampler. I haven’t had one of these in a while but it’s a great idea when you are presented with a variety of beers and don’t fancy being out of your gourd before teatime. I had American Style Kobe sliders. Does that mean the masseuse was American as opposed to Japanese?
Either way they were good and tender. This brewery won gold at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival so it would have been remiss of me not to have their winning Moon Light Porter.
A fantastic chocolate flavour and perfect for the cold day that was in it. I had a quick look around and this is a proper brewery;
As opposed to the places who have some equipment standing around because it lends an air of authenticity. Well worth stopping by if you find yourself in Nashville.
I’m going to be in Nashville in a few weeks! Any other recommendations?
Well that was day one so, I hope to have a few more over the next couple of days. The Johnny Cash Museum was very good.
Maybe I’ll check it out, thanks!
Sounds good; I’ll be back 🙂
More recommendations there for you now!
Great! Thank you 🙂 Can’t wait the trip; looks like yours has been going well!!
No bother, it was short and sweet, I’m back home now, hope you have fun!
