Buxton Brewery make really great beers. I was fairly certain I wasn’t going to be disappointed when I popped the cap off the top of Nth Cloud a Double IPA that clocks in at 8.2%. Well, the aroma hits you like a fruit punch to the shnozz. There’s a lot of pineapple. It’s a wonderful amber colour. The taste has some grapefruit. All of the Simcoe and juicy Mosaic hops are tempered with malt and unusually enough for this type of beer – oats! which mean it has a hint of bread and is really smooth. Seek it out. Sláinte!
