So it turns out there’s a Bo Bristle beer I hadn’t had yet! I was able to rectify that situation last night in Gleeson’s, Ferbane as they were pouring the Red Ale. Brewer Dave Guilfoyle was giving out samples to thirsty punters and while some of them were not persuaded to change from their usual a good few stayed on the Red Ale for the night. I have to say I enjoyed it myself, it’s very sessionable, tasty caramel maltiness and enough hops to give it a bit of bite. Friday nights in Ferbane don’t get much better. SlĂ inte!
