Beer that rawks!

Fans of both English bitter and the new wave of British heavy metal is a fairly niche market but those who fall into that category will have to try Trooper which is made by Robinson’s for Iron Maiden. I would call it a bitter in the classic English style. It’s 4.7% so you could have a few of them at a rock festival if rock festivals ever decided to start serving decent beer. It’s biscuity and sweet with just a touch of bitterness at the finish. It’s pretty good but I’ve a feeling I’m going to enjoy The Clash’s London Porter more, I always was more of a punk!
