Some of you may find yourselves in a quandry while on your Summer holidays; ‘ What am I going to bring Simon back?’ you may ask. Well you’ll be glad to know I can answer that question with one word: beer!
A pair of good friends regularly visit the Czech Republic and they brought me home the above Herold. I have to say you can’t go too far wrong with the Czech Pilsners, I mean it was their idea in the first place wasn’t it? But what I really enjoy is the black beers that I’m told are atypical of the Czech beer scene.
I had this one, also from Herold with bread and cheese and pate. A feast fit for a king.
