Road testing my new Riedel IPA glass

I’m sure you’ll all be immensely gratified to know that I finally got my IPA glass. I was happy that I was able to get it home safely as it is quite fragile. I said I’d try a Modus Hoperandi in it first as I’m familiar with it. I don’t know if I had a much fresher can or if the special glass made a huge difference or if the whole thing is psychological BUT darn it tasted pretty flipping great! Plus you get your trunk stuck right in there with every sip.

Then I upped the ante with Evil Twin’s Falco IPA. Again I was blown away. It’s a serious beer at 7% and it’s a pure citrussy, hoppy American take on the style. It’s a bit dangerous though because you wouldn’t know it was that strong so treat it with caution. I love my new glass and you’ll be seeing a lot more of it in my pictures!

I swear by these now, going to compare to a Sam Adams glass soon but I am pretty sure these will win. If anything, they are perfect for aroma which inadvertently will enhance taste.
