Alex Lawes has scored a hat trick. Now, anyone who knows me is aware of my ignorance of sports and the associated vernacular but I think it’s appropriate here. His latest Whiplash Beer is Rollover, a 3.8% Session IPA. This one comes in a very appealing can with some European looking collage art. The minute I pulled the ring I was delighted by the Mango aroma. I had a few friends gathered around who shared my feelings. I even allowed one of them to taste the beer – such is my generosity! It’s lighter in body, obviously, than it’s big brother Surrender To The Void but there were no compromises when it came to the hopping process. Simcoe, Equinox, Citra and Mosaic all make for a very tasty hop cocktail. Highly recommended once again. Hats off to Mr Lawes. Sláinte!
