The Belgian Connection is the first collaborative beer from J.W. Sweetman’s Dublin brewpub. They chose to embark on this maiden voyage with the well established O’Hara’s Brewery in Carlow. It’s dark brown with sweet banana and caramel flavours. There is a hint of yeast in there but it’s not over the top. The only thing about growlers is that there is too much for one person to drink in one sitting so I shared this. My friend opined that this beer is ‘a really good quality and has a nice aftertaste’! There was only a limited amount of this particular tipple made so I’d recommend not wasting any time before trying this….
