I’ve had the award winning Eight Degrees Amber Ella before but I have to say it goes exceptionally well with a Cornish Pastie Pie. This one was lovingly made with thinly sliced steak, some much reviled turnip, carrots from the garden and an onion. (Even if you have a dislike for turnip you should give this a go!)
The Full Irish is a single malt IPA. 100% Irish Pale malt. It has four different kinds of hops. Centennial, Citra and Amarillo most of us know but Ahtanum might not be as familiar. It lends the beer a grapefruitty flavour that’s a little bit different. It blew me away the moment I popped the cap off. It smells unbelievably good and it tastes great. A smashing IPA. Sláinte!
