Mikkeller is a brewer without a brewery, so he uses other’s facilities. This evening I tried his Breakfast Oatmeal Stout with Coffee which was brewed in Norway. I had it with steak and kidney pie and it was a little over powering to be honest. A beer this complex deserves to be drank on it’s own. There are bitter dark chocolate flavours mixed in with the coffee. I did think it would be creamier due to the oatmeal. Nevertheless a fine beer.
