Fuller’s London Pride is one of my regular favourites. And you really should try that if you haven’t already! That’s not what I’m having right now though. I’m sitting back listening to Joy Division’s Closer and sipping Fuller’s Chiswick Bitter. It’s a warm amber colour and despite the artwork on the label and the legend ‘distinctively hoppy’, it’s not as bitter as you might expect. It’s 3.5% and I would say if you looked in the dictionary under session beer you might find a picture of this beer! Several awards have been bestowed upon this beer by organisations like CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and all I can add to that is: rightly so!
