The High Horse, Trim

image

A friend recommended that I pay a visit to The High Horse in Trim so after a great afternoon at the Sheridan’s Food Festival I persuaded my wife to make a pit stop. Peter, the proprietor mentioned that they had an IPA brewed for them up the road by the lads in Brú. It’s called Steamboat IPA and it’s a very close cousin of Rí, an easy drinking IPA that’s not overly hopped.

Now, we had the kids with us and the evening was getting on so I could only stay for one, I would like to work my way through some of the impressive range of bottles, perhaps I’ll get to do that another night. Peter has worked in bars in New York and Denmark and he’s bringing some of those vibes back to Meath. Fair play to him and sláinte!
