Fuck Art – This is Religion ‘is a classical dubbel gone mad’ from Denmark’s To Ol. It was brewed in De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium and the funny feckers decided to age it in sacramental wine barrels for the craic.
It’s 8% and you know it from the off, everything about it is full on. The aroma is fruity and yeasty and the flavour has some caramel. I would like it even without the controversial label as it’s a pretty good beer.
Whoever is behind their design wins my admiration anyway for whatever that’s worth. There will be two more posts in this thread but they won’t necessarily be in the right order!
